Tractor Trailer Accident Closes Interstate in Louisa County

An accident involving one tractor-trailer that happened early Tuesday morning slowed traffic for a couple hours, reports NBC29. The incident happened just before 5 a.m. on I-64 westbound. Driver David M. Laplante was driving his international tractor trailer when he ran off the side of the road and hit a guardrail. The car overturned onto the passenger side and blocked off the left travel lane.
Laplante was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
