York, VA – July 4 – Officials are currently searching for a dog that was recently involved in a dog attack.
According to official reports by dailypress.com, the attack took place on Sunday, July 1, in Wolf Trap Park in Yorktown.
The Peninsula Health District described the dog as a brown Dachshund that was wearing a dog collar.
The unidentified victim of the dog attack may have to undergo a series of painful rabies shots if the animal is not found.
Officials said the dog would not be taken away from its owner if it is found but will be placed on in-home confinement for a period of 10 days.
