For Jim Parrish, Christmas morning means eating cinnamon buns and listening to Mariah Carey’s Christmas album with his wife, Mindi, and the 2 little ones, Sadi and Jimmy, Jr. The holidays hold different meaning for everyone. For some it means enjoying the decorations, music, and the joy in others. For others, the holidays mean reflection and giving back to the community. No matter what they mean to you, the holiday season gives us a chance each year to remember all the great things in our lives and be surrounded by the people we care about the most.
Jim Parrish and his family have many holiday traditions they treasure. One of their favorite activities is going to the Festival of Lights at Bull Run Park. The Bull Run Festival of Lights features over 40,000 animated lights set to music. There is a Holiday Village, Snowman Stampede, and Carnival. The Parrish family marvels at all the holiday lights before making a stop at the carnival.
Holidays are a great time to enjoy all the sights in your community, as well as spend time at home with loved ones. Some of the most cherished holiday memories are those we spend in the comfort of our homes. The Parrish family loves to watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer together each holiday. Whether it is a favorite holiday movie, special holiday meal, or reading Christmas tales by the fire, cherish the time spent with loved ones this holiday.
Each holiday is a chance to grow closer to our friends and families, celebrate old traditions, and discover new ones for years to come. This holiday season Jim Parrish wishes “simply that everyone spend time with family and friends, eat good food, make new memories and take note of all the wonderful things in their lives.”
Have a safe and happy holiday season from everyone at the Parrish Law Firm.
