Albemarle County, VA – June 4 – A Crimora woman was indicted Monday on two charges of involuntary manslaughter following a fatal November car crash.
According to official reports by dailyprogress.com, Jessica Lewis, 36, was attempting to round a curve on Half Mile Branch Road when she ran off the road.
Her daughter, Amber Johnson, 20, and ex-husband, Wayne Johnson, 40, were transported by flight to the University of Virginia Medical Center, where they were later pronounced dead.
Lewis sustained serious injuries in the crash.
She is accused of driving under the influence in the fatal accident and will appear in court on June 28.
