Amherst County, VA – June 4 – A tractor-trailer collision temporarily closed Virginia 130 as clean up crews worked to remove spilled debris.
According to official reports by newsadvance.com, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Route 130, about a quarter of a mile away from the intersection with U.S. 501.
Warren Davis, 59, from Lynchburg, was on the job at the time of the accident.
His tractor-trailer was coming from Campbell Lumber of Appomattox Inc. and heading towards a paper mill in Covington when it overturned on the highway.
According to officials, Davis was not injured in the crash.
He has been charged with failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
