Fredericksburg, VA – July 26 – A Stafford, Virginia man was pronounced dead Thursday morning after a single-car accident.
According to official reports by Fredericksburg.patch.com, the accident occurred around 11 a.m. at Old Mill Park.
Paul Hinson, 51, was operating a 1998 Mercury when he suffered an unknown medical emergency, police said.
Witnesses saw Hinson drive over a parking lot curb, cross a field and crash into a tree.
He lost consciousness after the crash and received CPR from bystanders. Two officers then used an automatic electronic defibrillator on the man for about three minutes.
Hinson was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
