H&M has recalled a number of their Children’s Water Bottles due to a defect in the spout that can allow it to disconnect from the bottle, posing a choking hazard to child users, reports PRNewswire.com.
Around 2,900 of the bottles, manufactured in Italy and sold exclusively in the children’s departments at H&Ms nationwide between July 2012 and August 2012 for approximately $5, have been recalled because of a tendency for the spout to break off from the bottle and pose a choking risk to the child.
The defective bottles come in either pink plastic with a crackle-like design or blue plastic, and have flip-open lids in matching colors. Check out complete product details on PRNewsWire.
There have been no reports of injuries as a result of the bottles, but one incident in England involved the spout breaking off into a child’s mouth.
