Unfortunately, many people participating in the same survey also reported driving aggressively themselves!
Almost 50% reported exceeding the speed limit by 15 mph on major highways in the past month and about one in six said they drove more than 15 mph over the limit on neighborhood streets.
The study also found that 56% of all deadly motor vehicle crashes were caused, at least in part, by some form of aggressive driving. Of course, speeding, the most common form of aggressive driving, was involved in more than 30% of those fatal accidents.
